Leslie Williams, DVM, cVMA, CRPM

After graduating from University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996, Leslie completed a one year internship at Washington State University. She then moved to Longmont and has been practicing in Boulder for 27 years. Leslie is very excited to now practice in the town she lives in!

Leslie’s biggest passion is continuing education. She attained her certification in veterinary medical acupuncture in 2020 and certification in rehabilitation and physical medicine in 2022. Dr. Williams offers integrative physical therapy sessions to evaluate and treat patients with mobility issues secondary to pain, orthopedic, and neurological conditions. She treats postoperative patients including fractures, TPLO’s, spinal disc protrusion surgery, and more. She also treats patients with medical conditions such as osteoarthritis, degenerative myelopathy, and spinal disc protrusion. Modalities used by Dr. Williams include massage and manual therapy, acupuncture, electroacupuncture, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, physical therapy stretching and exercises, cold laser, and pulsed electromagnetic field therapy. Most important for successful treatment is for a patient to enjoy the session; therefore, treats and a relaxed environment are encouraged, and different modalities are tried to see what fits each patient the best.

Leslie is also passionate about internal medicine and senior dog and cat care. She is studying to attain certification in global fast ultrasound to improve our ability to provide quicker diagnostic results when needed.

Outside of work, Leslie enjoys spending time with family, fitness, and cooking. She has 2 dogs and 4 cats that also keep her very busy!
